Factory Supervisor

A. Production Planning & Supervision

• Supervise daily production activities, including marble and stone cutting, CNC operations, edge profiling, polishing, finishing, and fabrication.
• Allocate tasks to machine operators, fabricators, polishers, helpers, and other factory workers based on production priorities.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure orders are completed within the required timelines.
• Coordinate with the Factory Manager and project team regarding production requirements, priorities, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure efficient utilisation of raw materials, machinery, manpower, and other resources.

B. Quality Control

• Inspect finished and semi-finished marble and stone products to ensure compliance with approved drawings, measurements, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor cutting dimensions, edge finishes, polishing quality, surface defects, and material consistency.
• Identify production defects and coordinate corrective actions to minimise rework and material wastage.
• Ensure products are properly checked before packing and dispatch.

C. Manpower Management

• Supervise and monitor the performance, attendance, discipline, and productivity of factory workers.
• Assign daily duties and provide practical guidance to workers on production methods and work requirements.
• Coordinate with HR and management regarding manpower requirements, attendance issues, overtime, and worker performance.
• Ensure adequate manpower allocation across different production sections.

D. Machinery & Equipment

• Monitor the proper operation and utilisation of cutting machines, CNC machines, polishing equipment, forklifts, and other factory machinery.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment servicing.
• Report machine breakdowns and production delays promptly to the Factory Manager.
• Ensure machinery is operated only by authorised and trained personnel.

E. Material Management & Wastage Control

• Monitor the availability and utilisation of marble slabs, stone blocks, consumables, and other production materials.
• Coordinate with the storekeeper regarding material issuance, stock availability, and replenishment requirements.
• Minimise material wastage, breakage, and unnecessary production costs.
• Ensure leftover materials and usable offcuts are properly identified, stored, and utilised where possible.

F. Health, Safety & Housekeeping

• Ensure workers comply with factory safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure production areas, storage areas, and walkways remain clean and organised.
• Monitor safe material handling, lifting, loading, and unloading activities.
• Report accidents, unsafe conditions, equipment hazards, and near-miss incidents to management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable company safety procedures and UAE workplace requirements.

G. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily production reports covering output, manpower, machine downtime, material consumption, wastage, and pending orders.
• Coordinate with the design, technical, project, store, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Report production delays, quality issues, manpower shortages, and operational challenges to management.
• Maintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in manufacturing, mechanical operations, production, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in factory supervision, preferably in a marble, granite, natural stone, or stone fabrication factory.
• Good knowledge of marble cutting, CNC machining, polishing, edge profiling, finishing, and fabrication processes.
• Experience in supervising factory workers, machine operators, and production teams.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality control, material utilisation, and workplace safety.
• Basic computer skills for production reporting and record keeping.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand dimensions and measurements is preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
