Factory Supervisor (Metal Engineering / Steel Structure)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily factory operations for steel structure and metal fabrication works
• Plan and monitor production schedule to ensure timely project delivery
• Coordinate workflow between cutting, drilling, welding, grinding, fitting, and assembly teams
• Ensure all fabrication works are carried out according to approved shop drawings and technical specifications
• Monitor production output and improve efficiency and productivity
• Implement quality control measures to minimize defects, rework, and material wastage
• Ensure proper usage and basic maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment
• Enforce workplace safety regulations and company safety procedures
• Manage workers’ attendance, discipline, and performance
• Coordinate with Project / Site Team regarding production progress and delivery schedule

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in steel structure / metal engineering factory
• Able to read and interpret shop drawings
• Strong knowledge in welding, fabrication, and steel structure assembly
• Experience in supervising factory workers
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Responsible, hands-on, and able to work independently
