Duties

• Operate various manufacturing equipment and power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure products meet specified tolerances
• Interpret technical drawings and production documents to guide assembly and mechanical tasks
• Handle materials manually and with forklifts, adhering strictly to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and assembly lines to identify issues and support process improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety standards in production environments
• Assist in managing production or assembly teams by following manufacturing management directives and supporting lean manufacturing practices

Requirements

• Proven factory experience with familiarity in manufacturing processes and safety standards in production environments
• Hands-on experience with forklift operation, power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, technical specifications, and production documentation accurately
• Mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical assembly or related roles
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical capability for heavy lifting when required
• Experience working on assembly lines or in manufacturing facilities that emphasize process improvement and lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent adherence to safety protocols, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment
