Factory worker

Job Summary

The Factory Worker is responsible for supporting daily production activities by operating basic equipment, handling raw materials, assisting with product processing and packaging, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized production environment.

The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, teamwork, and strict adherence to company production and safety procedures.

Job Description

Assist in the production, processing, filling, packaging, and labelling of products. Handle raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products properly.

Operate basic production machinery and equipment as trained.

Follow production instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines.

Measure and handle materials accurately according to production requirements.

Inspect products and packaging for visible defects or quality issues.

Report damaged materials, equipment faults, contamination, or production abnormalities to the supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene within the production area.

Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as required.

Assist with loading, unloading, arranging, and moving materials and finished products.

Ensure production materials are properly stored and handled.

Complete production records and other required documentation accurately.

Work closely with supervisors, production officers, quality control personnel, and other factory workers.

Follow workplace health and safety regulations at all times.

Meet assigned production targets and deadlines.

Perform other duties related to production as assigned by management.

Requirements Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO; OND or relevant technical qualification is an added advantage.

Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, FMCG, cosmetics, food production, or similar environment is an advantage.

Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.

Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good hygiene and cleanliness habits.

Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.

Basic communication and record-keeping skills.

Willingness to learn and undergo training.

High level of discipline, punctuality, honesty, and reliability.

Ability to adhere strictly to health, safety, and production standards.

Pay: ₦55,000.00 - ₦75,000.00 per month
