Fashion Designer

A global premium fashion house is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to support the development of ready-to-wear collections from concept to production. The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibility with technical expertise and is able to translate established brand and collection directions into thoughtfully designed products.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute creative ideas, design solutions, and product development concepts aligned with the brand vision and collection objectives.

• Collaborate with the Product & Design team in developing seasonal collections, ensuring all designs reflect the approved creative direction.

• Create design sketches, technical drawings, and detailed tech packs for product development and production.

• Research trends, fabrics, materials, and market developments, presenting relevant insights that support collection strategy and product innovation.

• Select and recommend suitable fabrics, trims, embellishments, and construction details in line with design and commercial requirements.

• Work closely with pattern makers, sample makers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure accurate execution and high-quality results.

• Review samples and fittings, providing clear feedback and necessary adjustments while maintaining the original design intent.

• Support the development of accessories and future product categories when required.

• Ensure all products meet brand standards, quality expectations, target costs, and production requirements.

• Maintain accurate design documentation, specifications, and product development records throughout the design process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in fashion design and product development.

• Strong experience in ready-to-wear design and garment development.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design software.

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, fit, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Experience creating professional tech packs and collaborating with suppliers and production teams.

• Knowledge or experience in accessories and bag development is a plus.

• Ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness and brand consistency.

• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• A proactive mindset with the ability to contribute ideas while effectively working within an established creative direction.
