Failure Analysis Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor the Failure Analysis (FA) team, establishing high standards of operational excellence to ensure the highest accuracy and quality of analytical outputs.

2. Act as the primary technical interface for global clients, leading technical discussions, addressing quality concerns and presenting formal FA findings.

3. Oversee and validate comprehensive root-cause analysis for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) units to ensure precise defect identification.

4. Provide advanced technical support and engineering guidance to the FA team. Serving as the escalation point for complex PCBA troubleshooting.

5. Drive rigorous failure investigations and coordinate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Engineering) to implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

6. Monitor and analyze defect trends proactively, leveraging data to mitigate quality risks and minimize recurring failures.

7. Standardize and optimize FA operating procedures (SOPs), documentation protocols, and overall team workflow efficiency.

Qualification

1. Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.

2. At least 5 years of experience in FA Analysis, EMS company is preferred.

3. Proficient in circuit analysis and the utilization of advanced diagnostic equipment, including Oscilloscopes, DMMs, LCR meters, and Active Probes

4. Good command in English.
