Failure Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities for Engineer

• Physical failure analysis and qualification testing of printed circuit board assemblies, modules, raw printed circuit boards, electronic components, mechanical parts
• Laboratory testing of materials
• Experimental work for method modification and development and validation of new methods
• Review of the assigned laboratory requests for choice of the appropriate test sequence
• Clarification of requirements for testing with the Failure Analysis Manager and requestors
• User level maintenance of test equipment
• Initiation of procurement of preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment, accessories and
• Consumables
• Evaluation of test equipment
• Drafting test reports including interpretation of results and formulation of an expert opinion
• Drafting work instructions and equipment evaluation reports
• Guiding technicians and less experienced engineers
• Acting for superior upon delegation of specific tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemistry or similar field
• Ability to communicate in verbal and written in English
• Skills in software for word processing, spread sheet calculation, e-mail
• Preferably 1-3 years work experience in a laboratory or as process engineer
• Able to work at Ayudhaya Plant
