Failure Analysis Engineer (PCB)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Identify failed elements through a hands-on analysis
2. Analyze failure reports and determine the root cause of the issue
3. Provide feedback with sustainable solutions for corrective actions if necessary
4. Working with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to assess and resolve issues.
5. Managing and reporting data related to failure incidents, tracking trends, and making data-driven decisions.
6. Strong understanding of assembly prints and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
7. Exceptional technical analysis skills
8. Familiarity with assessing failure rates and times to gauge the severity of issues and predict potential future failures.
9. Ability to operate under pressure, ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely manner to prevent delays in production or delivery.
10. Familiar with IPC 7711/7721 - Knowledge of standards and practices related to electronics rework and repair, both theoretically and practically, which are critical in troubleshooting and corrective actions.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s in engineering (Computer /Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
2. Candidate with electronic functional testing background in EMS PCB industry is highly preferred.
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the EMS PCB industry or equivalent technical knowledge/experience in electronics circuit.
4. Experienced in providing technical support in terms of, diagnostic, debugging and troubleshooting on electronic PCBA.
5. Strong initiative, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning.
6. Computer literacy, MS Office Suite.
7. Willing to work night shifts and rotating shifts.
