Failure Analysis Engineer (QA)

• Failure analysis support Automotive customer and others about new develop product and process
• Reliability test to support Automotive customer and others about new develop product and process
• Involve with team for effective failure analysis method/equipment in house or outsource laboratory for failure mechanism explanation lead to root cause identification
• Participate to enhance reliability test program, failure analysis techniques / capabilities / knowledge / guide line to support quality and cost improvement
• Provides consultation concerning reliability test and failure analysis about IC packaging related problem
• Set KPI and execute to achieve KPI target.
• Support corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master's Degree in Engineering or related fields
• Over 2 years’ experience in Semiconductor
• Working experience in electronics/semiconductor or IC manufacturing industry is preferred

Knowledge of general IC manufacturing process flow, material, specification and application requirement

• Knowledge of failure analysis flow on IC package and equipment
• Knowledge in fa technics/equipment such as OBIRCH, FTIR, Thermal emission microscope, PEM, FIB, Ion milling, TOFSIMs, Auger, surface analysis, etc.
• Knowledge of reliability test method on IC package and equipment
• Knowledge of core tools such as SPC, FMEA, Control plan, APQP, MSA, problem solving tools
• Knowledge in IATF16949 and QMS requirements
• Understanding on Customer Special Requirement (CSR)
