• Experience in automotive,aerospace,semiconductor,or medical device domains . Understanding of ISO,Six Sigma,or other quality frameworks . .

• Perform failure analysis (FA) on software, hardware, or system-level issues to determine root causes of production defects or field failures.

• Use analytical tools and techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa diagrams, FMEA, RCA) to investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, QA, and support to identify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Document failure analysis findings, prepare technical reports , and present results to stakeholders and clients.

• Implement and improve failure analysis processes and best practices across projects.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives through defect trend analysis and lessons learned.

• Utilize diagnostic tools, logs, and test environments to replicate and analyze issues.

• Provide recommendations for design improvements or process changes based on failure data.

Required Skills :

• Solid experience in Failure Analysis, Reliability Engineering , or Root Cause Investigation .

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a background in:

  • Electronics/semiconductors (for hardware FA)
  • Software debugging/log analysis (for software FA)

• Hands-on experience with failure analysis tools :

  • For hardware: X-ray, SEM, FIB, curve tracer, etc.
  • For software: logs, profilers, debuggers (e.g., GDB, WinDbg, ELK stack)

• Familiarity with Quality tools (8D, RCA, FMEA, CAPA)

• Strong documentation and communication skills

Good to Have :
