Job Summary

• Analyzes circuits and topologies to identify marginal failure root causes.

• Performs Failure Analysis for customers and suppliers as required.

• Develops, maintains and improves all troubleshooting solutions within area or responsibility.

• Drives recovery actions/repairs of the Test process Failure Inventory.

• Consistently reviews quality yields and develops corrective actions to eliminate any yield detractors, further improves the process and product reliability. Works with the Quality Engineer to determine if field/box line data indicates a need for process/product improvement.

• Assists with the fabrication and development of new equipment, fixtures and test programs.

• Assists engineering and the development labs with all new product introduction and development.

• Supports and facilitates Debug or Technical training process.

• Drives recovery actions/repairs of any test or burn-in process that is down.

• Sets-up the Test Equipment.

• Troubleshoots/debugs at multiple system levels the DGI escalated to FA.

• Performs and does the Reports and indicators assigned to the Failure Analysis and Test Process.

• Improves the Failure Analysis Procedure.

• Follows instructions for all the operations involved in the Test process.
