White Pine Lawn & Snow Group is a locally owned and operated lawn, landscape, and snow management company serving the Midland, Michigan area. We are looking for dependable, hardworking team members to join our Fall Clean-Up Team.

This seasonal position begins with 15–30 hours per week of fall clean-up work and transitions into on-call snow and ice management throughout the winter. The hourly wage remains the same for both fall and winter work.

What You’ll Do This Fall

You’ll work alongside a small team completing residential and commercial fall clean-ups throughout the Midland area. Your work may include:

• Leaf blowing, collection, and debris removal
• Operating zero-turn mowers, stand-on blowers, backpack blowers, and other commercial equipment
• Pruning and light landscaping
• Gutter cleaning
• Loading and securing equipment
• Assisting with trailers and equipment transport
• Keeping jobsites clean and professional

Fall Schedule

This position typically averages 15–30 hours per week, depending on weather and workload.

Our typical fall schedule is:

Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
Approximately 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

We utilize a four-day workweek whenever possible. This gives our team opportunities for three-day weekends while still allowing us to use an additional day when weather delays or workload require it.

When the Snow Starts, the Job Continues

Once fall clean-ups wind down, this position transitions into our on-call Snow & Ice Management Team.

Winter work may include:

• Residential and Commercial snow removal
• Sidewalk clearing
• Operating snow blowers and other snow equipment
• Applying ice melt and deicing materials
• Assisting with snow removal equipment
• Keeping properties safe and accessible during winter weather

Snow and ice management is weather dependent and on-call. Team members must be available when winter weather occurs, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability to work on your feet and remain active for 6+ hours
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing fall and winter conditions
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented and willing to take pride in your work
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience driving and backing trailers is preferred
• Experience with commercial lawn, landscape, or snow equipment is a plus
