Our office is searching for a candidate for the position of urgent care nurse practitioner. Responsibilities for urgent care nurse practitioner

• The NP will provide occupational health services in this setting including but not limited to suturing, advising on managing broken bones; prescriptions as needed
• The NP will perform privileged procedures as directed (e.g I and D and stitching)
• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical charts
• After consultation with the Medical Director, oversees patient issues and concerns which may include but are not limited to patient medical care
• Provides and manages direct patient care, including assessments, physical examinations, evaluations, testing as needed, diagnoses and treatment
• Prescribes medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions
• Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care options as appropriate
• Communicates with patients regarding test results and appropriate clinical information as care needed

Qualifications for urgent care nurse practitioner

• Unrestricted NP License
• At least 1-2 years of experience as NP
• Must have demonstrated effective interpersonal skills
• Must possess skills in providing services for community outreach, including community education

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 per hour
