F&B ACCOUNTANT

F&B Accountant – Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented F&B Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

Requirements:

* 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in F&B, restaurants, cafés, or hospitality.

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Strong knowledge of F&B accounting and cost control.

* Experience with daily sales and POS reconciliation.

* Experience with Food Cost, Beverage Cost, COGS, inventory, wastage, and stock reconciliation.

* Experience handling supplier invoices, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and supplier statements.

* Experience with bank reconciliation, petty cash, expenses, and payments.

* Knowledge of UAE VAT and VAT reporting.

* Ability to prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and financial reports.

* Experience with payroll and WPS is preferred.

* Experience reconciling Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon Food, Careem and other delivery platforms is an advantage.

* Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo, or similar.

* Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

* Good English communication skills.

* UAE/F&B experience is preferred.

* Candidates currently in Abu Dhabi are preferred.

* Immediate availability is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily accounting transactions and financial records.

* Reconcile daily POS sales with cash, card, bank, and delivery platforms.

* Monitor purchases, expenses, food and beverage costs.

* Maintain accurate inventory and investigate stock variances.

* Verify supplier invoices and reconcile supplier accounts.

* Prepare monthly financial reports and P&L.

* Monitor COGS, gross profit, wastage, and operating expenses.

* Maintain proper VAT and accounting records.

* Support management with financial analysis and cost-control reports.

* Ensure all accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
