F&B Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food & Beverage (F&B) Assistant to join our team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with their dining experience, ensuring high standards of guest service.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional manner, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, counters, and storage spaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times, including food safety protocols.
• Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure timely service.
• Engage with guests courteously, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly to foster positive experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interaction.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience in serving or kitchen environments is desirable; culinary experience is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good time management skills with the flexibility to work during peak hours as needed.

Pay: £14.70 per hour
