F&B Attendant

Key Duties

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve meals, coffee and other beverages to tables
• Clear and reset tables efficiently
• Process EFTPOS and POS transactions
• Assist with takeaway orders
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining and service areas
• Restock cutlery, glassware, condiments and service stations
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, barista and other FOH staff
• Check on customers during their meals and respond promptly to requests
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Support the team during busy breakfast and lunch services

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a positive and professional attitude
• Is confident communicating with customers
• Is reliable, punctual and well presented
• Can work efficiently in a busy environment
• Is comfortable working as part of a team
• Has good attention to detail
• Is available for weekday and weekend shifts
• Has previous café or restaurant experience — preferred but not essential
• Holds a current RSA — advantageous
