F&B Cost Controller – Job Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as an F&B Cost Controller, preferably in restaurants, cafés, hotels, or catering operations.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage costing, inventory control, and stock management.
• Experience in monitoring food cost, beverage cost, wastage, portion control, and variances.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Monitor purchases, receiving, transfers, issues, and consumption of food and beverage items.
• Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, receiving reports, and stock movements for accuracy.
• Prepare food cost reports, variance reports, and management reports.
• Analyze actual vs. theoretical food cost and identify discrepancies.
• Monitor recipe costing, menu costing, and selling price margins.
• Coordinate closely with Kitchen, Operations, Purchasing, and Finance teams.
• Identify areas of cost leakage, wastage, over-portioning, and stock discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Good knowledge of Excel; experience with Odoo, ERP, or POS systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
• Qatar/GCC F&B experience preferred.
• Candidates who can join immediately or with a short notice period are preferred.

Pay: Up to QAR7,000.00 per month
