F&B Expert

An experienced food and beverage (F&B) event professional is sought to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will plan and coordinate F&B operations for events, lead service teams, and work with clients and suppliers to deliver high-quality dining and hospitality experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee F&B operations for events from initial concept through execution and closeout.
• Develop service plans, schedules, budgets, menus, and operational requirements aligned with event objectives.
• Coordinate with clients, caterers, chefs, suppliers, venues, and internal teams to deliver seamless F&B experiences.
• Manage catering logistics, including food and beverage setup, equipment, staffing, service timings, guest flow, and on-site operations.
• Lead F&B teams, assign responsibilities, and provide clear direction on service standards and event requirements.
• Monitor food and beverage service and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure F&B operations follow agreed plans, quality and hygiene standards, food safety procedures, and company requirements.
• Track F&B budgets, timelines, inventory, resources, and deliverables, and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Evaluate guest feedback and event outcomes, and recommend improvements to future F&B services.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain strong working relationships throughout each project.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant F&B event or catering management experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing service teams, coordinating event catering operations, and handling multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong planning skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage service timelines, inventory, and resources.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service quality standards.
• Professional conduct when representing the company.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project requirements.
