F&B Manager

About the role

The F&B Manager is responsible for the overall operation, profitability, service standards, and guest experience of the hostel's restaurant, bar, and F&B outlets. The role requires a hands-on F&B leader who understands social hospitality, international guests, events, nightlife, and high-volume operations. The F&B Manager will work closely with the Hostel Manager and Experience team to create an energetic F&B environment that encourages guests to eat, drink, socialize, and participate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant, bar, and F&B operations
• Ensure excellent food, beverage, service, and cleanliness standards
• Manage opening, closing, shift operations, and service flow
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels based on business volume
• Monitor service quality during peak periods
• Resolve guest complaints and operational issues
• Create a fun, social, and welcoming F&B environment
• Monitor guest feedback and online reviews
• Drive F&B revenue and profitability
• Manage food and beverage costs, wastage, portion sizes, and stock variance

About you

• Minimum 3–5 years of F&B experience
• Previous experience as F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, or equivalent
• Hostel, lifestyle hotel, social hospitality, restaurant, or nightlife experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing international guests and multicultural teams
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
• Strong understanding of F&B cost control and profitability
• Good English communication skills
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
