F&B Outlet Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The F&B Outlet Supervisor is responsible for driving the outlet's success through effective team leadership and operational excellence. Their objectives are to build a high-performing team, ensure efficient operations and resource management, and deliver exceptional guest experiences, all while adhering to established operational procedures, service standards, and company policies. They achieve this by providing clear direction, developing staff, managing resources, and resolving guest issues promptly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Management and Resource Control:

Responsible for ensuring the team meets its deadlines, goals, and objectives by providing clear direction and facilitating effective communication. This includes conducting staff briefings, creating and managing staff schedules, and assigning outlet responsibilities. Also responsible for conducting inventory and replenishing stocks and equipment based on required par levels. This maintains efficient resource utilization, minimizes disruptions to service, and ensures a well-organized and productive team environment.

Guest Experience and Issue Resolution:

Personally handles guest complaints and takes remedial action to resolve them promptly and effectively. This ensures guest satisfaction and maintains the outlet's reputation. Also conducts coaching sessions to discuss staff performance and provides advice on how to improve for their professional growth. This includes conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback. This fosters a culture of continuous improvement and ensures guest satisfaction while protecting the outlet's reputation.

People Management

• Performance Management: Manage and drive high performance among direct reports, and help them achieve their performance goals . This also includes conducting performance evaluations.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Provides guidance to direct reports in performing their areas of responsibility, and supports their growth and development.
• Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives and provide a work environment that will promote employee engagement and high commitment to the company.

Staff training and Development:

Effective training programs boost productivity, job satisfaction, and career advancement opportunities for employees, while also contributing to a more skilled and adaptable workforce for the organization

Guest Satisfaction and Service Excellence:

Proactively addresses guest inquiries and concerns, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions. This includes gathering and responding to guest feedback to continuously improve service quality. By actively listening and resolving issues, the position ensures a positive and memorable dining experience that exceeds guest expectations and builds long-term loyalty.

KPI Accomplishment:

Contributes to the team's achievement of key performance indicators by assisting with goals related to the MOD Skills Audit, Beverage Cost, Hygiene Audit, Revenue, and promotional sales. This ensures the department consistently meets operational standards and financial targets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of any four (4) year Bachelor's Degree course, preferably in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related fields.
• Has at least two (2) years of experience as an F&B Supervisor.
