About the Role

Nirvana Life Bali is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as F&B Product / Service Trainees in Badung, Bali. This internship opportunity is designed for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to gain practical experience in the food and beverage industry.

Candidates may choose to pursue either the F&B Product Trainee or F&B Service Trainee track, depending on their interests and career aspirations.

As an F&B Product Trainee, you will focus on developing product knowledge, understanding food and beverage offerings, and supporting product quality and presentation. As an F&B Service Trainee, you will focus on guest interaction, service standards, and delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Both tracks offer hands-on training, guidance from experienced team members, and the opportunity to build a strong foundation for a future career in hospitality.

What You'll Be Doing

F&B Product Trainee

• Learn and develop comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
• Assist with food and beverage preparation and presentation in accordance with established quality standards.
• Support the team in maintaining product consistency, quality, and presentation.
• Understand menu descriptions and product information to support accurate communication with guests.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in assigned work areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Participate in product knowledge training and continuous learning activities.

F&B Service Trainee

• Learn and apply the company's service standards to deliver a welcoming and attentive guest experience.
• Assist with table setup, clearing, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of dining areas.
• Welcome guests, assist with taking orders, and communicate guest requests accurately.
• Develop knowledge of menu items, beverages, and daily specials to assist guests with their selections.
• Support food and beverage service during operational hours.
• Assist with order processing and payment handling when assigned and appropriately trained.
• Respond to guest inquiries professionally and coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
• Participate in service training and develop effective communication and guest-handling skills.

Responsibilities applicable to both tracks

• Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members across relevant departments.
• Maintain a professional attitude, positive mindset, and willingness to learn.
• Support daily operations as required within the assigned training track.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine interest in hospitality and the food and beverage industry.
• A positive attitude, strong willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic English communication skills, with the ability to interact appropriately with guests and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and an understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
• Reliability, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to perform the duties required by the assigned training track, including standing for extended periods when necessary.
• Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.
