Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated effectively
• Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation throughout the process
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues efficiently
• Demonstrate excellent guest service skills by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the team in maintaining smooth restaurant operations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality or service standards

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure safe service standards
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, cash handling, and upselling purposes
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving or kitchen support is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest services and creating welcoming atmospheres

Pay: From $16.75 per hour
