F&B waitress

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Food & Beverage (F&B) Waitress to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food and beverage orders, serving guests promptly, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all customers.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations when necessary.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen or bar team.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and according to established service standards.
• Ensure tables, dining areas, and service stations are clean, organized, and properly set up.
• Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and overall experience.
• Process bills and payments accurately, where required.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waitress, server, or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage.
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and a welcoming personality.
• Neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling orders and payments.
• A hospitality or food service qualification is an added advantage.
