F&I Closer

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented F&I Closer to join our automotive sales team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for finalizing the financing and insurance aspects of vehicle sales, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers while maintaining compliance with all relevant financial and automotive industry regulations. Your expertise in customer relationship management, loan processing, and deal structuring will drive customer satisfaction and support our dealership’s success. Duties

• Collaborate with sales teams to review customer credit applications and determine appropriate financing options
• Finalize loan agreements, insurance products, and extended warranties in accordance with dealership policies and regulatory standards
• Ensure all transaction documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and other federal or state regulations
• Conduct thorough credit analysis and evaluate client financial information to structure suitable deals
• Upsell additional products such as vehicle protection plans, insurance coverage, or accessories to enhance customer value
• Manage title processing, lien documentation, and ensure proper submission to relevant authorities
• Negotiate terms with lenders, insurance providers, and customers to secure favorable financing arrangements while adhering to compliance standards
• Maintain excellent client communication throughout the closing process, providing clarity on contract details and financing options
• Utilize industry-specific software such as CDK or equivalent platforms for transaction processing and record-keeping
• Stay updated on automotive sales industry regulations, financial compliance requirements, and dealership policies to ensure adherence at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Loan Officer or F&I Closer within the automotive or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of automotive financing, insurance products, and dealership operations
• Knowledge of industry regulations including TILA, Title processing procedures, and automotive sales laws
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell effectively without compromising compliance standards
• Proficiency with financial software such as CDK or similar platforms; familiarity with 10-key typing and basic math skills essential for accurate calculations
• Exceptional customer relationship management skills with a focus on delivering outstanding service
• Ability to analyze credit reports, process loans efficiently, and structure deals that meet both customer needs and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication skills for clear client interaction and collaboration with internal teams
• Attention to detail in contract preparation, compliance documentation, and transaction structuring
