F&I Manager

Description:

The Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for guiding customers through the financing and insurance aspects

of their vehicle purchase. They work with customers to find the best financing options, explain insurance products, and finalize the paperwork for the sale.

Responsibilities:

• Working with customers to secure financing for their vehicle purchase.
• Presenting various financing options, including loans and leases.
• Negotiating with lenders to obtain competitive interest rates and terms.
• Preparing and reviewing all necessary loan and lease documentation.
• Explaining different insurance products, such as extended warranties and after-market products.
• Helping customers choose the right insurance coverage for their needs.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and dealership policies.

• Excellent customer service skills
• Solid understanding of financing and insurance principles.
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years automobile sales experience required.

Language Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain purchase documents and a variety of programs to buyers.

Mathematical Skills:

• Strong mathematical skills and ability to compute rates and ratios.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed and involved written and oral instructions.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current Drivers License
• Must be eligible to obtain state sales license.
