F&I Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented F&I (Finance & Insurance) Manager to join our automotive sales team. In this vital role, you will lead the financial services department, guiding customers through the financing process while ensuring compliance with all industry regulations. Your expertise will help maximize dealership profitability through effective deal structuring, upselling, and exceptional customer service. As an F&I Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients and providing tailored financial solutions that meet their needs. Responsibilities

• Manage the entire F&I process, including presenting financing options, insurance products, and extended warranties to customers
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through transparent communication and personalized service
• Structure deals efficiently by analyzing credit reports, income documentation, and vehicle values to ensure profitable transactions
• Ensure all loan processing complies with federal and state regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and automotive industry standards
• Upsell additional products like vehicle protection plans, gap insurance, and credit life/disability insurance to maximize dealership profitability
• Collaborate with sales teams to facilitate smooth contract negotiations and finalize deals promptly
• Maintain thorough knowledge of financial software systems such as CDK or equivalent platforms for accurate transaction processing
• Conduct credit analysis and evaluate client financial situations to determine appropriate financing options
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with dealership policies and legal requirements
• Stay updated on industry regulations related to automotive financing, including title processing and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in loan officer roles within the automotive or financial services industry with a focus on deal structuring and credit analysis
• Strong knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations, including TILA, title processing, and compliance standards
• Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on client communication and satisfaction
• Demonstrated ability in sales negotiation, upselling, and closing deals effectively
• Familiarity with financial software platforms such as CDK or similar systems for transaction management
• Basic math skills including 10-key typing proficiency for quick data entry and calculations
• Knowledge of automotive financing products, insurance offerings, and dealership operations regulations
• Ability to analyze credit reports accurately while adhering to financial regulatory compliance standards
• Exceptional negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to service delivery

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
