Farm Assistant

Job Scope:

Oversee daily farm operations, ensuring efficient production, maintaining livestock or crops, managing farm workers, and ensuring compliance with agricultural best practices. The role involves monitoring farm performance, improving productivity, and implementing sustainable farming methods while aligning with company goals.

Requirements:

1. Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in farm management, livestock, or crop production.
• Experience in layer farm operations (if applicable) is an advantage.

2. Skills & Competencies

✔ Strong knowledge of farm management practices and SOPs.
✔ Ability to lead and manage farm workers effectively.
✔ Good understanding of livestock health, feeding schedules, or crop cycles.
✔ Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
✔ Basic budgeting and cost control experience.
✔ Knowledge of farm safety regulations and compliance.
✔ Proficient in record-keeping and report preparation.

3. Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Physically fit to handle farm tasks, including lifting and walking long distances.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays if required.

This position is open to Sarawakians only and will be based in Kuching, Sarawak.
