Farm Equipment Operator/Labourer - Trainee

This is a year-round, full-time position, willing to train the right candidate. Work includes operating equipment, field work, yard/shop work and general labour. Winter work includes dozer work and land clearing. Training will be provided.

MUST HAVE

• Valid Class 5 driver's licence
• Own reliable transportation
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required

Job Duties

• Operate dozers, tractors and other equipment
• Land clearing and field work
• General yard and shop work
• Equipment cleaning, maintenance and basic repairs
• Load, unload and move equipment and materials
• Help keep the yard, shop and equipment organized
• Travel to different farms and job sites as required
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

• Equipment or farm experience is an asset
• Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Physically able to perform general labour
• Reliable and willing to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a crew

Full-time, year-round position. Wage based on experience.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
