Farm Equipment Technician

West Central Equipment, the John Deere agriculture and mowing equipment dealer in Martinsburg, PA is seeking 2 Farm Equipment Technicians. We offer a quarterly performance bonus program and tool allowance in addition to competitive wages and generous employee benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere and other brands of agriculture and mowing equipment
• Perform setup and pre-delivery preparation of new equipment
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere products and competitive products
• Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Complete reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignment

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience as a mechanic or technician, working on farm tractors
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of tractors or construction equipment
• Ability to use computer-based technical manuals and other software programs
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Standard personal toolbox required
• Must be willing to download company apps on your personal phone
