Farm Manager

Farm Manager – Job Requirements **Educational Qualification** * B.Sc./HND in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Farm Management, or a related field. * Professional certification in agriculture/farm management is an added advantage. **Experience** * Minimum **3–5 years’ experience** in farm management or a related agricultural management role. * Proven experience managing farm workers, production activities, and farm operations. * Experience with budgeting, procurement, inventory, and farm records. * Experience managing either crop production, livestock, poultry, or mixed farming, depending on the farm's operations. **Key Skills** * Strong leadership and people-management skills. * Knowledge of modern farming practices and agricultural production. * Farm planning, scheduling, and resource management. * Budgeting and cost-control skills. * Inventory, equipment, and input management. * Ability to monitor productivity and meet production targets. * Good reporting, documentation, and record-keeping skills. * Problem-solving and decision-making ability. * Basic computer/Excel proficiency. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. **Personal Requirements** * Physically fit and comfortable working in a farm environment. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required. * High level of integrity, discipline, accountability, and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and under pressure. * Willingness to live on-site where accommodation is provided. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and supervise daily farm operations. * Manage farm employees and allocate duties. * Monitor production, yields, and productivity. * Manage farm inputs, equipment, and inventory. * Prepare and monitor farm budgets. * Ensure proper maintenance of facilities and equipment. * Maintain accurate farm records and operational reports. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and agricultural standards. * Identify operational challenges and implement corrective measures. * Report regularly to management on farm performance and requirements.

Pay: From ₦200,000.00 per month
