Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Farm Manager to lead daily operations on a thriving agricultural property. In this role, you will oversee the management of livestock, pasture management , equipment maintenance, and staff supervision to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable farm practices. Your leadership will drive productivity, uphold safety standards, and foster a positive working environment. Responsibilities

• Supervise farm staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure smooth daily operations
• Oversee livestock care and management, including feeding, health monitoring, breeding, and animal husbandry practices
• Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, implements , and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Manage pasture activities including planting, rotation and weed management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards in all production processes while promoting a culture of safety among team members
• Maintain accurate records related to livestock health, breeding program, equipment maintenance logs, and operational procedures
• Maintain the farm including roads and grounds.

Skills

• Proven supervising experience in an agricultural or farm setting with strong leadership abilities
• Proficiency in operatingmachinery such as agricultural tractors, skid steer, seeders, and other farm equipment
• Extensive animal care experience including livestock handling and animal husbandry practices. Pasture pork, sheep, and goats as well as poultry.
• Ideally experience in regenerative agriculture practices.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety standards in production.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and animal handling
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
