Farm Operations Coordinator (Poultry Layer Farm)

About the Role

CMA Agri-Development Corporation is looking for a Farm Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day planning, coordination, and administration of our layer poultry farm operations. This role is essential in ensuring efficient production, accurate inventory management, and timely implementation of farm schedules while working closely with the In House Animal Nutritionist and with the Farm Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily planning and administrative activities for layer farm operations.
• Prepare feed forecasts and monitor feed inventory levels.
• Track daily production data, including egg production, flock population, mortality, feed consumption, and stock balances.
• Coordinate the procurement of livestock, medicines, vaccines, and other farm supplies.
• Prepare and process orders and releases of vaccines and medicines.
• Develop and maintain vaccination and culling schedules.
• Ensure accurate recording, encoding, and filing of farm transactions and operational records.
• Generate production and inventory reports to support operational decision-making.
• Reports to the In House Animal Nutritionist and works closely with the Farm Operations Manager to ensure production targets and operational plans are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• At least one (1) year of experience in poultry layer farm production or farm operations.
• Experience in production planning, inventory monitoring, and farm administration is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional farm teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications for data encoding and reporting.
• Willing to work on-site and travel to farm locations as required.
