Farm Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verifies adherence to biosecurity procedures.
• Makes daily rounds to ensure that health conditions are properly monitored.
• Promptly identifies and treats animals that are ill.
• Makes a diagnosis of illness or any abnormal condition based on behavioral and physical observation in order to provide appropriate treatment.
• Gathers information on established facts and keeps track of the mortality and morbidity rates in every department under supervision.
• Manages immunizations according to protocol.
• Keeps an eye on Wean to Finish's adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Plans the working schedule for subordinates in order to meet the need for manpower.
• Consults and works in tandem with the farm manager on issues that must be resolved in the particular area of responsibility.
• Carry out additional tasks as needed on a temporary basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A graduate of Agriculture, Animal Science or related fields.
• With at least 7-8 years of experience in a swine farm handling managerial roles.
• Willing to stay-in the farm premises at Argao/ Pinamungajan
• High problem-solving skills.
• Above average written and conversational skills.

Work Schedule/Set-up:

• 26 days duty with 4 days day off

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php75,000.00 per month
