Job Summary

Duties

• Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service for customers
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail staff, providing coaching and support to enhance performance
• Oversee sales management, including achieving sales targets and promoting product offerings effectively
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays that highlight seasonal produce and specialty items
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
• Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and product rotation to ensure freshness and quality
• Implement organizational systems for sales tracking, administrative tasks, and scheduling
• Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership, time management, and organizational skills

Experience

• Proven management or supervisory experience in retail or food service environments
• Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse groups effectively
• Experience in merchandising, sales management, and retail operations
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and build a cohesive team
• Prior administrative experience including inventory control and organizational tasks
• Familiarity with farm shop or specialty food retail is a plus but not required
