Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 basic salary (depending on experience) plus bonus and commission, with realistic on-target earnings of £40K +

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

At NFU Mutual's Lincoln Agency, we're proud to support farming, commercial and personal customers across Lincolnshire with trusted insurance and financial services advice. As our Agency continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Farming Account Handler to join our friendly and ambitious team based at the picturesque Burton Waters Marina.

This role offers the opportunity to manage and develop an established portfolio of farming customers whilst helping grow our presence within the local agricultural community.

The Role

As a Farming Account Handler, you'll be responsible for:

• Managing and servicing an existing portfolio of farming and rural business clients.
• Building strong, long-term customer relationships through excellent service and advice.
• Identifying opportunities to introduce additional insurance solutions that meet customer needs.
• Generating new business through networking, referrals and local market engagement.
• Working closely with Agency Partners and colleagues to support Agency growth.
• Conducting customer reviews and ensuring clients remain appropriately protected.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience working within farming, agriculture or agricultural insurance.
• A good understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing rural businesses.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Strong commercial awareness and a customer-first mindset.
• A full UK driving licence.
