Responsibilities

• Assist in creating design sketches and illustrations using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to visualize concepts effectively.
• Support the development of textile selections by researching textiles in industrial design and applying color theory principles to ensure cohesive collections.
• Prepare technical CAD drawings and vector illustrations for production specifications and pattern development.
• Collaborate with garment construction teams by providing detailed design inputs and participating in fitting sessions.
• Contribute to artistic concept development through mood boards, storyboards, and presentation materials that communicate design ideas clearly.
• Use 3D modeling software to visualize product prototypes and explore innovative design solutions.
• Engage with cross-functional teams including merchandising, retail, and styling to ensure designs meet market needs and brand standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and graphic design illustration tools.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software, vector illustration, and 3D modeling applications relevant to fashion design.
• Experience with textiles in industrial design, garment construction, sewing techniques, and sewing machine operation.
• Ability to develop artistic concepts through sketching, illustration, and visual storytelling.
• Understanding of color theory principles for effective palette creation across collections.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management processes within fashion retail environments.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate seamlessly across teams.
• Knowledge of fashion styling, merchandising strategies, and theater experience beneficial for creative presentations.
