Responsibilities

• Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision and integrity
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the kitchen and dining space in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure timely food delivery by managing time effectively during busy periods and coordinating with team members

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards to ensure safety and compliance
• Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory management
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen setting with kitchen experience preferred
• Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members
• Enthusiastic about upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and drive sales
