FCAW Welder

Key Responsibilities

• Welding Execution: Perform high-quality structural welding using the Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) process. [1, 2]
• Positional Welding: Execute precise welds across multiple standard structural positions (including 3G and 4G) on heavy steel plates and marine structures. [1, 2]
• Blueprint & Specification Compliance: Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). [1, 2]
• Joint Preparation: Inspect, clean, and grind joints or bevels prior to welding to ensure proper fusion and eliminate defects.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Adhere strictly to shipyard safety standards, confined space protocols, and proper PPE utilization. Ensure all welds pass structural visual and non-destructive testing (NDT). [1, 2]

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

• Industry Experience: Marine / Shipyard experience is mandatory. Candidates must have a proven background working within Shipyard / Drydock environments.
• Certification: A valid 3rd Party Welding Card / Certificate is mandatory for this mobilization.
• Age Limit: Must be below 40 years of age.
• Availability: Candidates must be immediate joiners

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
