What they need

The FCC Systems Administrator owns Southern's NexGen and Atom platforms — the connective tissue between field operations, dispatch, and accounting. This office-based role keeps scheduling, compliance, and invoicing data accurate across our heavy haul and lifting operations. Success means clean system data and field crews who use Atom correctly, with enterprise-wide impact from an individual-contributor seat.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage daily configuration of the FCC NexGen database
  • Own the field rollout and troubleshooting of the Atom mobile app so crews submit accurate tickets, safety forms, and hours
  • Audit system data to keep fleet schedules accurate and minimize dispatch conflicts
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact with FCC vendor support
  • Bridge communication between field personnel and corporate accounting to keep data clean

What You Need to Succeed

Required:

  • 2+ years of administrative, dispatching, or operations experience in crane, rigging, heavy haul, or oilfield services
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accurate system/database records supporting scheduling, billing, or compliance
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with mobile apps (iOS/Android) in rugged field environments
  • Ability to train others on system workflows and hold the line on data-entry standards
  • Reliability and consistent on-site attendance in Midland, TX

Preferred:

  • Direct, hands-on experience running Fleet Cost & Care (NexGen/Atom) software
  • Experience with comparable dispatch/ERP systems (e.g., Command Alkon, TMW)
  • Proven understanding of heavy equipment logistics, hourly billing cycles, and field ticket workflows

Who Thrives Here

People who succeed at Southern tend to:

  • Take ownership of their work
  • Show up ready to perform
  • Solve problems instead of waiting for direction
  • Value safety over shortcuts
  • Respect the team and the job

What You Get

  • Competitive pay with consistent earning potential
  • Weekly pay
  • Medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k) with company match after 6 months
  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding operation
