FDAS Technician

• Install, maintain, test, and repair fire alarm control panels, smoke and heat detectors, manual pull stations, horns, strobes, bells, and other related devices.
• Perform routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure proper operation and reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical and system-related issues, including ground faults, short circuits, wiring problems, and communication errors.
• Assist with the installation, wiring, conduit work, device termination, and commissioning of new fire alarm systems and system upgrades.
• Read and interpret electrical and fire alarm system drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Use appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and detector testing tools.
• Follow established workplace safety procedures and applicable fire alarm and electrical standards.
• Document inspection findings, maintenance activities, repairs, and system issues as required.

Requirements

• Diploma, certificate, or vocational training in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Training or certification related to Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, testing, or troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, FDAS components, loop wiring, and fire alarm system operation.
• Ability to use basic electrical and fire alarm testing tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical or fire alarm system plans and wiring diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: Php22,000.00 per month
