FEBA Developer

About the Role

We are looking for experienced FEBA Developers with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Banking/FEBA development. The selected candidates will work on development, customization, enhancement, integration, and maintenance activities for FEBA-based banking applications.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, banking-domain understanding, and the ability to work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, QA teams, and production support teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and customize FEBA applications and banking solutions based on business requirements.
• Work on FEBA product customization, enhancements, and development activities.
• Analyze technical requirements and prepare technical solutions/designs.
• Develop, modify, and maintain application components.
• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
• Develop and maintain interfaces and integrations with other banking applications.
• Troubleshoot application and integration-related technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure development standards are followed.
• Work closely with functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
• Prepare technical documentation for developed/customized components.
• Coordinate with QA and support teams for defect resolution.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned development tasks

Required Technical Skills

• 34 years of relevant experience in FEBA development.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle FEBA / Oracle Banking applications.
• Strong programming and customization experience.
• Good understanding of Java/J2EE technologies.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle Database.
• Understanding of APIs, web services, REST/SOAP and application integrations.
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting application issues.
• Good understanding of banking application architecture.
• Experience working in development, testing and deployment environments.

Banking Domain Knowledge

Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:

• Core Banking
• Payments
• Retail Banking
• Corporate Banking
• Digital Banking
• Banking product configuration/customization
• Integration with Core Banking and surrounding applications

Candidate Profile

• 34 years of relevant IT experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to work from the Andheri, Mumbai office.
