Federal Data Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Federal Data Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This remote opportunity is focused on delivering enterprise data engineering solutions that support complex professional services engagements in secure federal environments. The role will partner closely with customers, technical stakeholders, and internal delivery teams to translate business objectives into scalable architectures and high-quality implementation outcomes. Success in this position will require a strong mix of technical leadership, customer-facing consulting, and project delivery expertise.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $160,000 – $205,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of complex professional services engagements from design through implementation
• Design enterprise-scale data engineering solutions that satisfy customer needs
• Facilitate customer architecture workshops and solution reviews
• Translate business objectives into technical solutions
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point during project delivery
• Deliver high-quality enterprise data engineering and integration solutions
• Communicate project status and technical risks to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of enterprise software engineering, data engineering, or consulting experience
• Proven project leadership experience in technical implementation within enterprise environments
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures
• Strong customer-facing consulting and communication skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
