What they need

Federal Work Study (FWS) positions are federally funded, part-time positions open to eligible enrolled Ivy Tech students only. These positions are generally located on campus but may also be located off campus. Positions are available primarily for general office/clerical, maintenance, laboratory support, and educational support. Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.

All positions will require positive customer service skills. Some positions may also require clerical, computing, telephone, and filing skills. Each position will have a specific set of responsibilities that will be explained during the interview process with a detailed job description for that role provided. Duties will vary based upon positions that are available.

Federal Work-Study positions are part-time positions filled each semester and are available to current Ivy Tech students.

The Student Fundraising Associate will be an integral member of the Foundation team and will work closely with Foundation Office staff and regional and campus development officers. The associate’s primary responsibilities will include assisting with donor relations and stewardship, data maintenance and prospect research, fundraising events, on-campus fundraising initiatives, and the development of a Student Philanthropy Club. The associate will also serve as a student ambassador for the Foundation.

  • Conduct research on alumni, donors, and prospective supporters using the CRM and other approved resources.

This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with this position may be assigned.  All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
