Department: Facilities Management Salary: $12.50 per hour

Description:

Assist in maintaining space inventory data and the construction document archives for Facilities Management. The student is expected to have a working knowledge of AutoCAD, construction plans, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse departmental personnel.

Duties:

• Assists in physically surveying spaces and documenting measurements, signage status, capacity, and space code.
• Assists in drawing and editing AutoCAD drawings
• Updates Space Inventory data
• Assists in space data entry in Space Management software.
• Scan, organize, and maintain space survey documents and architectural and construction drawings physically and digitally.
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic computer skills, including AutoCAD, Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
• Customer service oriented
• Willingness to learn
• Must possess proficient writing skills

Qualifications:

• Must be a current UHD student
• Must be eligible for Work-Study from the Office of Financial Aid
• Must be enrolled in at least six college credit hours
