Fedex Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload products at various locations, ensuring that items are handled with care.
• Follow designated routes for timely deliveries and pickups, utilizing effective route planning skills.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient loading and unloading tasks.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required by company policies.
• Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with loading/unloading processes.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record: Minimum 3 years driving history
• Ability to lift heavy items regularly throughout the workday.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160.00 - $325.00 per day
