FedEx Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are looking for Delivery Drivers that are reliable, highly motivated and have good morale to join our team. Watson Delivery Inc. is a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground. We are very committed to have a positive and supportive work environment working towards a path to success.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company-provided van or truck on a designated route
• Load and unload packages from the vehicle efficiently sort them for delivery
• Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and ensure proper documentation for each shipment
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies and DOT regulations during route driving
• Plan and follow route plans in a timely manner
• Perform Pre and post trips vehicle inspection daily and report any maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid drivers licenses with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, loading, unloading, and extended periods of moving around
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and moving packages efficiently
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely
• Knowledge of route driving best practices to optimize delivery times and efficiency
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to navigate using a GPS or other navigation system

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
