FedEx Delivery Driver - Non CDL

H&S Logistics Inc with FedEx Ground has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for delivery drivers in Whitsett, NC. We are an independent service provider for FedEx Ground. Our delivery drivers will be operating cargo vans, box trucks, or step vans in Burlington, Mebane, Yanceyville & surrounding areas. You will be operating out of the FedEx terminal at 6538 Judge Adams Road, Whitsett, NC. We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to work as part of a team! We are now accepting applications for FULL-TIME delivery drivers with availability during weekends! Full-time is 5 or 6 days a week. Availability for at least one weekend day is required.

Pay: From $150/day starting, ranging from $150-$180/day

**All candidates must consent to a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Random drug screens will also be given during employment**

Typical work hours: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM or until delivery completion

DUTIES OF DELIVERY DRIVER:

• Arrive at Whitsett FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages by 8:00am
• Deliver and pick up all packages daily w/in the prescribed time windows
• Conduct daily pre/post trip van inspections
• Operate delivery vans safely, securely, and competently
• Learn the route(s) and the customer needs to be serviced by our company
• Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the packages, vehicle, or yourself
• Effectively use GPS to arrive at your destinations accurately
• Scanning and logging packages

DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:

• Drivers must be 21 years of age or older
• Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Drivers must be willing to submit to a background check
• Drivers must be able to physically manage packages up to 150 lbs.
• Drivers must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Drivers must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)
• Drivers must be able to make 70-160 stops per day
• Amazon Experience Qualifies as Driving Experience
• Additional experience as a box truck driver, delivery driver, warehouse driver, or non-CDL truck driver will also be considered.
