Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery routes while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws
• Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts
• Deliver packages accurately and efficiently to residential and commercial customers, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly
• Use mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate routes effectively and update delivery statuses in real-time
• Adhere to safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items during warehouse operations or deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs

Skills

• Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on customer service excellence
• Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and manual transmission vehicles
• Commercial driving skills with knowledge of route driving, heavy lifting, and safe manual handling practices
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, moving goods, and load & unload procedures
• Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT standards, and weight handling protocols in the workplace
• Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
• Experience operating mobile devices for navigation, delivery updates, and documentation

Pay: $160.00 - $180.00 per day
