You will be responsible for safely transporting parcels, managing warehouse operations related to deliveries, and adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for package transportation across designated routes.
• Load and unload packages efficiently using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks.
• Deliver parcels to customers’ homes or businesses promptly while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Follow established routes accurately, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safe operation; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Use mobile devices or onboard technology to track deliveries, update statuses, and communicate with dispatch teams.
• Assist in warehouse operations when necessary, including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and supporting loading/unloading activities.

Requirements

• Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and customer service excellence.
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license suitable for operating box trucks or commercial vehicles; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices; comfortable handling weights typical in parcel delivery environments.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or moving carts is advantageous.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial truck driving and weight handling in the workplace.
• Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company policies at all times.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 55.0 per week
