$135 per day ** after completion of paid training

**re-evaluation after 90 days

**NOTE: experienced FedEx drivers start at ＄145/day **if you present yourself as an experienced FedEx driver, but your performance isn't indicative of such, we will reconsider your starting rate & may potentially reduce your starting rate to that of an experienced driver.

**Additional compensation may be based on work experience and performance.

Do I need experience to apply?

Our current ideal applicant has FedEx experience, but while PREFERRED, it's NOT REQUIRED!

How often do we pay employees?

Weekly on Friday (we do direct deposit)

What type employment are we hiring for ?

Full Time - We work 6 days a week Mon-Sat (7 during our peak season from mid November until Jan) . SATURDAYS ARE NOT OPTIONAL.

***Notes about Weekends : WE "TRY" TO GIVE OUR DRIVERS 1 or 2 SATURDAYS OFF EACH MONTH BUT THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE & IS BASED ON COVERAGE & VOLUME. OUR DRIVERS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO BE SCHEDULED ALL 6 DAYS MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. DRIVERS MAY REQUEST UP TO 2 (TWO) DAYS OFF EACH MONTH PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULE BEING MADE FOR THOSE DAYS. THESE REQUESTS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR APPROVAL BY MANAGEMENT. APPROVAL IS BASED ON COVERAGE & VOLUME & IS AT THE FINAL DISCRETION OF MANAGEMENT.****IF THIS IS AN ISSUE FOR YOU - STOP READING HERE !! Who are we?

We are a local FedEx ground contractor looking for qualified and experienced drivers to pick up and deliver packages in Fayetteville and Raeford area (North Carolina). We provide courteous and professional work environment. We provide the vehicles and fuel. You must have your own transportation to and from the terminal.

What are the requirements to apply?

• You MUST BE AT LEAST 21 years of age
• You must have a CURRENT & VALID driver’s license (CDL not necessary)
• You must have at least 5 years driving experience (general driving-not commercial)
• You must be able to read, speak & write in English
• You must be able to pass a criminal background & motor vehicle records check, drug test and DOT physical. No exceptions!
• You must be able to pass a road test
• You must be of legal status to work in the USA, we do E-verify!
• You must be able to safely lift/carry up to 150 lbs. with or without a hand truck
• You must be able to pass the FedEx approval process to become a qualified driver
• You must be able to be ready to work by 7:30AM each work day
• You must be available to be scheduled ALL 6 days Mon-Sat (7 during peak season). This is NOT NEGOTIABLE! Weekends are REQUIRED. (Saturdays during non-peak season & both Saturdays & Sundays during peak season).
• You must be able to work each day until the route/day is complete. There is never a set ending time- much of this depends on the route & the drivers pace & work habits. IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE YOUR FULL ROUTE/WORKDAY/ASSIGNED TASKS, IT IS CONSIDERED VOLUNTARY RESIGNATION. ANY REMAINING PAY NOT YET RECEIVED AT THE TIME OF RESIGNATION WILL BE PAID AT THE CURRENT NC MINIMUM WAGE AS STATED IN & ACCORDING TO THE PARAMETERS LISTED IN OUR MINIMUM WAGE POLICY. THIS IS A ONE & DONE SITUATION. WE HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR QUITTERS. THE FIRST TIME YOU DON'T COMPLETE YOUR ROUTE/DAY/TASKS IS THE LAST TIME IT WILL HAPPEN WITH US. **EMERGENT SITUATIONS WILL BE SUBJECTED TO MANAGEMENT'S DISCRETION**
• You MUST have a working cell phone with active cell phone service (meaning you must be able to send and receive calls and texts even without WiF)i. This is not negotiable!!! NO WORKING PHONE - NO JOB . This is a safety issue which we take very seriously!! You should always be able to reach us, & in turn we should always be able to reach you. Many times this job involves working after dark or driving & getting out of your vehicle in unknown& potentially unsafe areas. We focus on safety above all else.
• You must be able to multitask, read & follow complex instructions, be affluent with technology as use of a scanner & phone/tablet is a must!
• You must be able to compete a full 90 day probationary period with NO CALLOUTS, TARDIES, ABSENCES (excused or unexcused). As previously mentioned, we will ask for any dates you are unavailable to work at the time employment is offered. We will allow for those absences only.

A few personal notes from the owner…

This is a VERY PHYSICALLY DEMANDING JOB! We work in ALL weather ! We work in the dark. We work long days & longer weeks. Our drivers deal with day to day unplanned situations regularly such as mechanical issues/break downs, flat tires, technology difficulties , freight delays, etc. This is par for the course in the logistics industry in general. This means you MUST have patience, fortitude & that thing which cannot be taught…you either have it or you don’t - and that is what we call NO-QUIT. You must be able to push through & adapt as needed. You must be a self-starter who is able to successfully manage your time along with unexpected delays & mishaps. You must be able to set your own pace & abide by that pace. Please do not ask if this job is hard. Yes - my drivers work hard. Please don't ask is it physical - Yes - this is physical labor. If you are asking me either of these questions, then this job is NOT for you.

• I believe in complete & full transparency. I will not sugar coat the position for you as that doesn’t benefit you or me. You should be fully aware of what you’re signing up for & make sure it is something you want to do and are able to do. There are certain situations which I can tell you up front will not work with this type of job. I prefer to save your time & efforts as well as mine by being honest & realistic up front.
